Applied Livestock and Crop Sciences (M.Sc.)

Master of Science

Features of the degree program Applied Livestock and Crop Sciences

The application-oriented Master degree program Applied Livestock and Crop Sciences qualifies students for management positions at all stages of the agri-food industry. Students select one of seven profiles, acquiring specialized knowledge, which is applied in third-semester research projects or in development projects with one of our cooperating partners. There are a number of medium-sized and major companies from the agri-food industry in the outlying region around Osnabrück, so relevant practical experience is guaranteed. The seven possible study profiles include: controlling in livestock farming; soil, plant nutrition, and plant protection; precision plant management; food and bioprocess technology; media and CSR communication; product and innovation management; and corporate management. There is high demand for well-trained specialists in these sectors.
