Are you a PhD student, Post-Doc or academice staff member in Osnabrück and looking for other reseachers to exchange ideas and experiences with?
Osnabrück University and Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences invite you to join our social events! We meet in changing locations in Osnabrück and offer a variety of leisure activites. Here you can chat with other doctoral candidates in a relaxed atmosphere and exchange ideas about your research and common interests. In addition to international researchers, there are usually also some German PhD student joining our activities.

Upcoming events
Of course we don't want to miss out the Maiwoche, Osnabrück's biggest folk festival!
We meet at 6.30 pm at the town hall steps (address: Markt 30, 49074 Osnabrück). You will recognize us by the Researcher's Roundtable sign.
Prior registration is not required. We look forward to seeing you!
From June 10-13, Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences will be hosting an International Staff Week on "Research at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences". Around 30 participants from various European countries are expected to attend, who are either involved in research themselves at their universities or are working on research-related topics. On the first evening (June 10) your are invited to join the welcome meeting. It's a great opportunity to get to know colleagues from other countries! The Institute of Music at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences will provide musical accompaniment and there will be a buffet for everyone. The get-together will start at 3.30 PM and the venue is the Schmied im Hone beer garden (Oldenburger Landstra?e 62, 49090 Osnabrück).
We look forward to seeing you there! Prior registration is not required.
Join us on a trip to Bielefeld! We will take the train in the afternoon and spend the evening in Bielefeld. After a walk through the city center, we want to visit the famous medieval festival around the Sparrenburg. A group of international scientists from Fachhochschule Bielefeld will also join us for this event.
We are looking forward to a fun trip with you!

- Participation is free if charge, but everyone pays for its own drinks/ticket etc.
- You are welcome to bring your spouse and children to our events, too.
